How does the per-weight pricing work exactly?
The first 100 kg of material disposed of costs CHF 50. Every additional 100 kg costs CHF 35. For smaller clearances — a single room, a basement, or a few pieces of furniture — this is the most transparent way to price the job. For larger full-property clearances we provide a fixed-price quote after assessment.
What happens to items that are still in good condition?
We identify items that can be donated — furniture, appliances, and household goods in usable condition. We coordinate with local charities and second-hand organisations so they go to a good home rather than landfill.
Can you combine clearance with final apartment cleaning?
Yes — and we recommend it. Clearance followed immediately by our final cleaning service means the property is empty and spotless in one coordinated visit. One team, one invoice, one handover date. Particularly useful when leaving Switzerland with a fixed departure date.
Do you handle estates and moves into care homes?
Yes. We handle estate clearances and household dissolutions with care and discretion. We also regularly assist when a family member moves into assisted living and the family home needs to be cleared — often at short notice and from a distance. We're experienced with these situations and approach them with the respect they deserve.
How long does a full clearance take?
A typical 2–3 room apartment clearance takes half a day to a full day. Our 7-tonne compactor truck with hydraulic press handles whole furniture pieces without dismantling, which significantly speeds up the process. Larger properties or those with heavy built-ins may require longer — we confirm the expected duration in your quote.
